18.07  Casa GV

Excavated in the yellow tuff of the coastline of Posillipo in Naples, Casa G emerges from the volcanic soil to reach for the sea. The entrance is located underneath the street level, welcoming the owners in the warm, private part of house. A wooden skin gives order to the eroded tuff walls, hosting two bedrooms and a generous bathing area, immersed a calm atmosphere filtered through the light wells facing the sea front. The first floor is divided into a living space and kitchen and dining area. Two arched openings frame the view to the sea. Outside, a small terrace anticipates the solarium, allowing a serene descent to the sea.
